Dear friends and colleagues,
We would like to invite you to the II Molecular Biosystems Conference: Eukaryotic Gene Regulation & Functional Genomics (http://www.molbiosystems.com/ <http://www.molbiosystems.com/>). The conference will take place in Puerto Varas, Chile from September 30th to October 4th, 2019. We have a diverse panel of international speakers (http://www.molbiosystems.com/speakers.html <http://www.molbiosystems.com/speakers.html>) working on different aspects of gene regulation in animals, plants and fungi. The conference is relatively small which increases the chances of close interaction with the speakers and other attendees, making for a highly interactive and dynamic meeting.
Puerto Varas is enclaved in the Chilean Patagonia and features beautiful landscapes with snow capped volcanos and charming European styled towns. There are lots of natural attractions in the vicinity if you wish to take advantage of the trip to visit the region.
We have fellowships available for postdoctoral researchers and students - the deadline for fellowship applications is April 15th, 2019.
Please feel free to share this invitation within and outside your institutions. We look forward to seeing you in Puerto Varas.
Selene Fernandez-Valverde (on behalf of the organizing committee).

II "Molecular Biosystems" Conference
Eukaryotic Gene Regulation and Functional Genomics
September 30 - October 4, 2019
Puerto Varas, Región de Los Lagos, Chile
The meeting will cover a wide variety of topics centered on eukaryotic gene regulation, from detailed molecular analyses to genome-wide studies.
This conference aims to bring together scientists from all over the world, at different stages of their scientific careers, to discuss recent advances in this active and fast-paced area of research.
The conference will feature talks from world-renowned speakers, including a New PI Session, two poster sessions, a Reproducibility Workshop, and a Career Panel.
This will be a small meeting, limited to max. 120 attendees, thus providing a prime opportunity for networking.
Topics covered include:
Transcriptional Regulation & Chromatin Structure
Genome-Scale & Integrative Biology
Developmental Networks & Cell Signaling
We look forward to your participation and seeing you in September in Chile's lake district.
